Job Description: As a Medicare Billing Specialist at Interim HealthCare, you will be responsible for managing and processing Medicare claims, ensuring that they are accurate and compliant with federal regulations. The ideal candidate should have a background in medical billing and coding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

• Review and process Medicare claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Submit claims to Medicare and follow up on denials or rejections.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the billing team to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Stay updated on changes to Medicare policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance representatives as needed.
• Meet deadlines with efficient and timely processing.

Requirements:

• Certified in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medicare billing.
• Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
