NAV/BC Developer - Greensboro, NC - $120k - Hybrid

Our client is a technology hardware company with a focus on the public sector who is undergoing a series of Business Central implementations and are in need of an experienced technical resource for their team.

We are looking for someone with a development background on the D365 BC platform, as well as a strong business process capability, to work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams on better leveraging the software to drive business processes. In this role, we need someone who can handle C/AL to AL extension conversions and consult to clients on best practices.

Responsibilities:

* Configuring, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software and components in all functional areas
* Supporting legacy Navision systems and leading the development efforts to transform C/AL code to AL extensions in the BC cloud
* Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support to business training team
* Analyzing and estimating client modification requests
* Writing code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
* Familiarity and ability to work in an agile software development environment
* Testing functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
* Delivering modifications to users
* Serving as the lead technical expert
* Developing modifications and creating outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycle

What You'll Need:

* 3+ years of experience programming with Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central software
* Experience with Business Central 15 and above required, specifically with using events to perform modifications.
* Experience extending common third-party add-on solutions highly desired
* Ability to communicate well with non-technical customer stakeholders
* Additional experience with Power apps, Logic apps, Java Script, Dataverse & Azure Functions will receive preference.
* Candidates experienced with Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps will receive particular preference
