Job Summary Performs major repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained. Benefits* Rate starts at $17.00 per hour.

• $500 signup bonus after 90 days of employment with a satisfactory review.

Responsibilities * Knowledge on cleaning and maintaining hotel indoor pool and fitness center

• Actively keeping parking lot grounds clear of visible trash, also sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed and snow removal
• Identify and report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction. Report to Chief of Engineering for repair plan
• Perform guest room preventative maintenance on regular basis.
• Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out
• Be an extra support and communication coordinating in between Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Make sure all exterior lights are working properly.
• Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
• Other duties as assigned by Chief of Engineering

Qualifications* High School Diploma/GED required

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
• Must be highly motivated and able to work hands on and independently
