Installer
Position Summary: Adequately perform systems furniture installations without direct supervision for an assigned project or service route.
Responsibilities
Work from blueprints, layouts, drawings, and floor plans to install systems product per detailed customer specifications.
Use automated work order system to receive, complete and closeout service work orders.
Perform carpentry including building desks, workstations, files, chairs, and ancillary product from a variety of manufacturers.
Move equipment and furniture as directed
Maintain good housekeeping in work area
Know and follow established OSHA procedures
Bring unsafe conditions to management’s attention or correct as able
Assist in other areas as needed
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2-years experience as an installer or field technician specifying in systems furniture.
Ability to read, interpret and follow floor plans and blueprints
Must be able to work flexible hours/start time including working nights & weekends
Must be able to provide own set of basic tools
Ability to travel 10% of time

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Frequently moves product & equipment weighing up to 50 pounds through warehouse and loading dock areas into finished customer space
Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
Must be able to remain in stationary position for long periods of time while riding in company vehicles
Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service finished goods
Constantly positions self to complete service, including under the desks, files and in the server closet
The person in this position frequently communicates with customers who have inquiries about their product - Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Must be able to detect obstacles from long distances, while driving or onsite
Constantly works in or around construction conditions
Constantly works in variable temperature situations, both inside and outdoors
