We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success. Job Description: As an Automotive Technician at Garlyn Shelton Automotive Group, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive the highest level of service, maintaining our reputation for excellence. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a passion for automotive technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to enhance service efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and quality repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and automotive repair software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
